Refund & Cancellation Policy

Last updated: September 10, 2026

Propayly provides tools to help businesses manage jobs, invoices, payments and collections. Users remain responsible for complying with laws applicable to their business, customers, taxes and jurisdiction. This policy distinguishes between Propayly subscriptions and payments made through a Propayly user’s invoice — they are not the same thing.

Propayly subscriptions

  • Cancel anytime: You may cancel your Propayly subscription from your account settings or through our designated support channel.
  • Cancellation stops future renewal. Access continues through the end of your current paid billing period, unless otherwise required by law or your subscription configuration.
  • Non-refundable billing periods: Subscription fees are generally non-refundable once a billing period has begun, except where required by applicable law or where Propayly expressly approves a refund.
  • Trial: If Propayly offers a trial, billing begins only after the trial ends and you have provided a payment method. You can cancel before the trial ends to avoid any charge.
  • Duplicate or erroneous charges: If an accidental duplicate charge occurs, or we verify a billing error, contact support and we will investigate and correct it. Any approved refund is returned through the original payment method where technically possible.
  • Processor fees: Third-party payment processing fees may not always be recoverable.

We do not promise automatic refunds in situations where the payment provider cannot support them.

Customer payments

Propayly does not decide whether a service professional owes a refund to their customer. The business is responsible for service quality, cancellations, customer disputes, refunds, returns, warranties, and service-specific terms. Propayly is the software and payment-request layer.

  • Where supported by the payment provider, a business may issue or record refunds to its customers.
  • Propayly will not mark a payment as refunded unless the payment provider confirms it or the authorized business user explicitly records a manual refund.
  • Refunds to customers are subject to the payment provider’s own policies, timelines, and fees.

Downgrades & data

Downgrading your plan never silently deletes your business records. If a subscription expires, your account enters a restricted, read-only state rather than being destroyed, so you can recover or upgrade.
